Visual Project Blueprint
Overview: A single music video combining two songs: Golden & Hearing Me centered around a female pianist in her practice studio, as she freestyles the riffs for both songs & daydreams the scenes of the video - replaying memories in her mind of a relationship that’s over, but that still permeates her thoughts.
Theme: The way memories of the past, and of those we’ve loved, can become ghosts in our present reality: overlaying our experiences wherever we go. Seeing someone we once loved in everything, even though they’re gone. The visual is centered around the pianist recollecting moments she spent with Connor, as past & present blend together and he fades in & out of scenes.
Styling: Dark, high contrast, somber tones, mixed with brighter elements - a blend of city/industrial, nature/fantasy, and color/black & white atmospheres, creating a daydream, lost-in-time feel
Casting - For the female pianist role, we’re ideally looking for someone between 18 - 35 years old, with acting experience & enough ability on the piano to learn the two songs below by ear. Fashion for the shoot is all black - either a black dress or leather jacket & black T-Shirt.

Compensation: $200 Flat-Rate, paid once the shoot wraps

Day 1 (Monday, July 29th): Studio & Driving Sequences (with Pianist)
Studio (The Black Box):
Primary Setup: Piano in the center with a spotlight, focusing on the pianist practicing.
Additional Scenes:
Two dancers performing to the music in front of the pianist
A stage performance of Connor performing both songs with a mic stand under a spotlight
Connor also playing the song on the piano
Vintage Car Drive (Norfolk, MA):
Route: Connor & the Pianist driving home through the backroads & woods of Norfolk, MA, ending at 7 Grove Street, Norfolk. They arrive at the home together, but she approaches the door of the home alone, as Connor & the car fade from the background
Other Scenes:
Misc. performance sequences of Connor with the car
The car parked at an overpass facing a lake, with Connor & the pianist looking out upon the water
Performance sequences of Connor at a lone tree in a vast field (Norfolk - where Winning Circle was shot)
Day 2: Solo Scenes with Connor
Sherri Forest:
Performances of "Hearing Me" near the staircase ruins and surrounding woods. (Outfit: McQueen Suit, with guitar).
Smoke bomb sequences with double-time shooting for a slowed-down performance effect
Hoosac Tunnel:
Performances of "Golden" - Inside the tunnel, around nearby waterfalls, and overwatch. (Outfit: Black Suit).

Springfield vine location, rooftop, winding roads (with Tesla), etc.
Remaining Tasks:
Brainstorm Additional Scenes within The Black Box
CGI: Deciding on a CGI sequence, potentially involving fire, lightning, or flooding
Black Box Lighting - Understanding the lighting options within the Black Box, & deciding what extra lighting (if any) is needed
Creating Prop List - identifying potential props to enhance each scene
Candle & incense burning on top of the piano
